Job summary

BrightStar Care of Midtown Raleigh is hiring experienced CNAs and PCAs for immediate 12 hour shifts in the Raleigh area.

We are dedicated to providing compassionate home care and seek dependable caregivers who are passionate about making a difference in clients' lives. All offers are contingent on background and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Active North Carolina CNA license or proof of work experience for PCA applicants.
• Current TB test.
• Current CPR certification.
• Completion of all state-mandated training requirements.
• Valid NC driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Hoyer lift experience preferred.
• Willingness to transport clients.
• Outstanding communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide companion care and personal care assistance to clients in their homes.
• Follow and complete all tasks outlined in the client's plan of care.
• Document care provided, time, and attendance accurately.
• Communicate client changes or concerns promptly to the Director of Nursing.
• Maintain a safe environment while following agency policies and procedures.
• Respond appropriately and professionally in emergency situations.
• Use caregiving equipment safely and properly, including Hoyer lifts.
• Maintain reliable attendance and arrive to shifts on time.
• Submit shift availability at least two weeks in advance.
• Assist with client transportation as needed.
