Job summary

Right at Home Darien is seeking CNAs, HHAs and Companions to support seniors and adults with disabilities in their own homes across Bridgeport, CT. You will provide companionship and non-medical care in a flexible, rewarding role.

Responsibilities include assistance with daily living activities, meal preparation, errands and light housekeeping, while delivering compassionate care in a safe home environment. Training and PPE are provided where available.

Qualifications

• Caring and compassionate with a desire to work with the elderly and disabled.
• Self-directed with ability to work independently; a driver (car) is a plus.
• Able to read, write and understand English as needed for the job.
• CNA certificate preferred but not required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least one year of caregiver/Home Health Aide experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Offer companionship and non-medical support to seniors in their own homes.
• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and transfers.
• Prepare meals.
• Accompany clients on errands or medical appointments.
• Perform light housekeeping.

Qualifications and Skills:
