Job summary

Harmony Senior Services in the United States is seeking a Resident Assistant/PCA to provide quality care and assist residents with activities of daily living in our luxury senior living community.

You will support dining, housekeeping, activities, and respond to resident calls, while maintaining confidentiality and teamwork with nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have completed approved personal care aide program per state regulations as applicable.
• Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in-writing.
• Must be organized and able to work well with all levels of personnel.
• Must be CPR/First Aid certified, or be willing to become certified within 60 days of hire.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs, and push or carry 25 lbs.
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assists residents with activities of daily living.
• Performs housekeeping duties such as making beds and cleaning apartments and common areas.
• Responds promptly to resident calls for assistance or emergency alerts.
• Assists in planning and conducting activity programs for residents.
• Maintains confidentiality regarding release of resident information.
• Assists residents to and from dining and activities.
• Checks on residents, attendance at meals and activities, and reports status to appropriate staff.
• Provides emotional support to new residents during move-in transition.
