Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant or current Nursing Student who has completed Fundamentals of Nursing or equivalent med/surgical clinical rotation.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant/Patient Care Technician (CNA/PCT) certification from recognized issuer is required.
• Experience preferred but not required for all career options.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with clinical tasks such as blood glucose monitoring and EKGs.
• Apply simple dressings and aseptic techniques.
• Respond to medical emergencies using CPR and AED.
• Support patient and family-centered care and efficient unit operation.
