Job summary

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification required.

• Crisis Prevention and Intervention (CPI) to be obtained within 30 days from hire.
• Experience in hospital or telemetry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports the plan of care as delegated by staff nurse.
• Maintains a clean and safe patient care environment.
• Provides care based on patient needs, appropriate to the ages served.
• Communicates patient care needs effectively with patients, families and staff.
• Completes documentation of patient-related tasks.
• Adapts behavior to the specific patient population and respects privacy.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
