Job summary

Ocean Meadow Senior Living in Clinton, CT is seeking a compassionate CNA for part-time shifts 3-11 PM every other weekend. The role focuses on supporting residents with daily living activities and memory care needs in a respectful, empathetic environment.

You will document care, report changes to staff, engage residents in meaningful activities, and contribute to a caring team with paid time off and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA certification required.
• Experience in an assisted living community preferred.
• Memory care experience is preferred.
• Proficiency reading and understanding a Resident Care Service Plan.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Document care provided and report changes to staff.
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide emotional support.
• Utilize customer service skills to ensure residents receive quality care.
• Other duties as needed.

• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.
• Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
• Other duties as needed.

CNA Requirements:

Valid CNA

Prior experience in an assisted living community. Memory care experience is preferred.

Demonstrates proficiency at reading and understanding a Resident Care Service Plan or assignment (e.g., ADLs and introductory visits)

Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired.
