Job summary

Monarch Communities in Brick Township, NJ is seeking compassionate Certified Nurse Assistants to provide daily living and personal care according to each resident's care plan. Responsibilities include bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding, and assisting with meals and activities.

Shifts are part-time: 7am-3pm Sundays; 3pm-11pm Mondays and Fridays; 11pm-7am Fridays; 6am-10am Saturdays and Sundays. The role emphasizes safety, dignity, confidentiality, and teamwork with nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Certification as CNA or CHHA is required.
• Experience caring for the elderly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort residents to meals and activities and ensure they are clean and groomed during shifts.

We are looking for compassionate Certified Nurse Assistants to assist in daily nursing, living, and personal care services in accordance with an established care plan.

Job Overview

Assists residents in all aspects of their daily life as indicated in the resident’s care plan, including personal care, food service, housekeeping, laundry, behavior management, socialization, and activities.

Part-Time - Shifts available:

7am - 3pm every Sunday

3pm - 11pm every Monday and Friday

11pm - 7am every Friday

6am - 10am every Saturday and Sunday

Salary: $21.00 - $21.25 Hourly

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide resident care to residents that include bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding, as outlined in their care plan
• Maintain the safety, comfort, dignity, and confidentiality of all residents
• Escort residents to meals and activities
• Ensures all assigned residents are clean, neatly dressed and groomed, safe, and fed during assigned shifts
• Document all services provided to your assigned residents during your shift
• Report any change of condition in a resident immediately to your supervisor
• Certified Nursing Assistant or Certified Home Health Aide
• Knowledge and experience in working with the elderly population, preferred dementia experience

• While performing the duties of this job, the associate is often required to stand, walk, sit, use fine and gross motor skills, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, hear, and smell.
• An individual in this position will be required to lift or carry weight in up to 50 lbs. Intermittent physical activity includes lifting and supporting residents. The associate must use proper body mechanics.
