Job summary

Genesis in Fredericksburg, VA is seeking a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our caring team. The role supports daily living activities and works with a Licensed Nurse to enhance residents' quality of life; must be able to work every other weekend, including Saturdays and Sundays, with a 7am–7pm shift.

Candidates must complete a state-approved CNA program with current certification, and be fluent in English.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English to ensure safety and wellbeing of patients/residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) alongside a Licensed/Registered Nurse to improve residents' quality of life.
• Provide compassionate, high-quality service to patients and families while respecting individual needs and rights.

Responsibilities

The Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA works alongside a Licensed/Registered Nurse to directly impact patients'/residents' quality of life by assisting with their activities of daily living (ADLs). You will also ensure that our patients/residents and their families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere which recognizes the individual patients'/residents' needs and rights.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a state-approved CNA program and current certification required
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our patients and visitors and respond to their medical and physical needs.
