Job summary

Cooper River Post Acute in Greenville, SC is hiring a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct resident care on 1st or 2nd shifts, 7a-3p or 3p-11p. The position offers competitive pay with shift differentials and growth opportunities within our network.

You will assist residents with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and document care while collaborating with nurses to ensure a safe, comfortable environment for our residents.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Current South Carolina CNA certification in good standing.
• Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) preferred.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred.
• Compassion for an underserved population.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Dependable, professional and resident-focused.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting.
• Assist with feeding and hydration as needed.
• Take and record vital signs.
• Assist residents with mobility, transfers and positioning.
• Monitor residents and promptly report changes in condition to nursing staff.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
• Promote resident dignity, comfort and independence.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
• Work collaboratively with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality care.
