Job summary

Kern River Transitional Care Center in Bakersfield, CA is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct care and support with ADLs, mobility, bathing, dressing, feeding, and toileting. You will help residents maintain independence in a clean, safe environment.

Qualifications

• Valid California CNA certification in good standing.
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs and restorative care.
• Observe and report changes in resident condition.
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with policies.
• Support residents’ rights and individuality.
• Provide compassionate care and emotional support.
