Job summary

Providence PACE West Seattle is seeking a compassionate Nursing Assistant to support our Adult Day Health program and clinic. You will assist participants with daily living activities, help with mobility, transfers, toileting, feeding, and recreation under supervision of the Site Operations Manager.

The role requires Washington Nursing Assistant Certification, CPR/First Aid certification, and at least one year of healthcare experience working with frail older adults.

Qualifications

• WA Nursing Assistant Certification License required at hire.
• CPR and First Aid Certification required at hire.
• 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting.
• Experience working with frail, cognitively impaired older adults.

Responsibilities

• Assist Participants with activities of daily living including walking, transfers, mobility device use, restroom assistance, toileting, changing incontinence products, clothing, feeding and recreational tasks during Adult Day Health.
• Support Participant satisfaction and retention and prepare Participants for medical exams when needed.
• Provide care under the direction of the Site Operations Manager for the Adult Day Health program and clinic.

This position will be supporting our West Seattle site.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, Day shift

Under the direction of the Site Operations Manager, provides support services for Adult Day Health program and as needed clinic. Provides care in support of Participant satisfaction and retention. Assists Participants in such activities as walking, transfers, use of mobility devices, getting to and from restroom, toileting, changing incontinence products, clothing, feeding and recreational tasks during Adult Day Health. May be responsible for preparing Participants for medical exam by clinic PCPS.

Required Qualifications:

Pay Range: $22.05 - $33.74
