Job summary

St. Luke’s invites qualified CNAs to join our Telemetry units in Boise, Meridian, or Nampa. You will provide essential patient care, assist with monitoring, and support nursing staff in a fast-paced cardiac telemetry environment.

New CNAs or Nurse Apprentices are encouraged to apply. Eligible applicants will have a CNA certification, BLS, and current enrollment in a nursing program, with on-site shifts including nights.

Qualifications

• Current CNA Certification in the State of Practice.
• American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Provider certification.
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be enrolled in an accredited nursing program (ACEN/CCNE/CNEA).
• Nurse Apprentice or Nursing Intern pathway described by state board.

Responsibilities

• Provide essential CNA care on Telemetry units in Boise, Meridian or Nampa.
• Support patients with cardiac and medical telemetry needs and monitoring.
• Participate in shift rotations, including nights and weekends.

Telemetry is a great unit for CNA's to build in on their skills and build a foundation that sets them up for success for their career. You'll have the opportunity to work with patients who suffer from heart disease, heart failure and complications associated with cardiac conditions.

Boise Tele 3/7

includes both Telemetry Units, 3 Tele and 7 East. The patient population is dynamic, 3 Tele, a Cardiac Telemetry Population, they provide care to patients with Primary Cardiac Diagnosis and procedures. 7 East, a Medical Telemetry Population, provides care to patients with acute and chronic complex medical diagnosis that may or may not require telemetry monitoring.

• Licenses/Certifications:
• Nurse Apprentice Letter OR Nursing Intern Letter from the State Board of Nursing. The Nurse Apprentice is able to remain in the Nurse Apprentice position following graduation while awaiting RN or GN Licensure or 90 days, whichever comes first.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.
