Job summary

Enloe Health in Northern California is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to support nursing staff and patient care on days shifts. The CNA may transport medications to and from the pharmacy and assist under RN supervision as part of the care team, following the medical plan of care.

Qualifications

• Must complete Neutropenic Precaution and Radiation Safety Module during the first year of employment.
• Current Certification with the CA Department of Health Services Licensing & Certification Board
• Current CPR Certification

Compensation Range:

$23.09 - $29.56

Position Summary:

Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, the Certified Nursing Assistant may give patient care. They may perform selected nursing procedures as defined in the Patient Care Standards Manual. The CNA transports non-controlled medications to and from pharmacy. Under supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Certified Nursing Assistant provides a support function to the nurse by coordinating special tasks and assisting where needed. The Certified Nursing Assistant collaborates with other members of the patient care team to provide care in accordance with the medical plan of care. These services further the mission of Enloe Medical Center, which is to provide high quality, cost effective healthcare for the people in the communities we serve

Minimum:

EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE:

Complete Neutropenic Precaution and Radiation Safety Module during the first year of employment

Desired:

Previous experience in nursing unit or hospital environment
