Job summary

Enloe Health in Chico, CA is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for the nights, 12-hour shifts. The RN will provide direct patient care, prioritize needs, and coordinate with the care team to implement the medical plan.

Strong critical thinking, communication, and compassionate bedside manner are essential. Required: California RN license, CPR, ACLS, PALS within 6 months, Basic Arrhythmia and Hemodynamics training, and recent acute or ICU experience.

Qualifications

• California RN license required or in process for CA state registration.
• CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications within 6 months of hire.
• Basic Arrhythmia, Hemodynamics, and Critical Care competencies.

Responsibilities

• The RN delivers direct patient care per the medical plan and policies.

Compensation Range

$55.93 - $79.75

Your rate of pay will be based on applicable experience

Shift: Nights Shift length: 12 Hour

Days off: Variable Hours per pay period: 72

Sign-on bonus: Up to $3,000

Position Summary

The Registered Nurse is a licensed professional who provides patient care in accordance with the standards, policies, and practices of Enloe Medical Center. The Registered Nurse prioritizes patient needs, coordinates patient care, and collaborates with other members of the patient care team to provide care in accordance with the medical plan of care.

Minimum

EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE:

• Basic Arrhythmia or equivalent (within one year of hire)
• Hemodynamics or equivalent (within one year of hire)
• Critical Care Course or equivalent (within one year of hire)

Desired

• One year of acute nursing experience
• One year of recent Critical Care RN experience
• One year of recent Intensive Care Unit experience
• Previous Paramedic, ED Triage Tech, EMT, ED Tech or Lift Tech experience
• Basic Arrhythmia, Hemodynamics or Critical Care Course

Minimum

LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS:

• Current licensure with the California Board of Registered Nursing
• Current CPR
• Current ACLS
• Current PALS (within 6 months of hire)
• Current NIH Stroke Scale Certification (within 6 months of hire) (dept tracks)

Desired

• CNRN certification

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Must demonstrate technical competence, professional clinical judgment, communication skills and sensitivity for the patient and family in crisis. Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the position.
