Job summary

Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for the OB Acute Unit. This 0.6 FTE daytime position includes two 12-hour shifts per week (7:00 am–7:30 pm) with rotating weekends and holidays, under RN supervision to deliver direct patient care per the established care plan.

The role supports patient-focused, whole-person care in a collaborative hospital setting. Providence offers strong benefits and a supportive team culture in Hood River, Oregon.

Qualifications

• Oregon Nursing Assistant Certification License is required upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association is required upon hire.

Job description

CNA - OB Acute Unit at Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital. This posting represents 0.6 FTE, day shift openings (7am-7:30pm, 2, 12 hour shifts per week) with rotating weekends and holidays.

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct patient care under the supervision and direction of an RN, utilizing the care plan. The CNA assists a Registered Nurse (RN) in providing comprehensive nursing care by performing specified duties and functions under the direct supervision of the RN.
