Responsibilities

• Record resident data on flow sheets, notes, and charts.
• Report changes in resident’s condition to a nurse promptly.
• Protect resident privacy and report HIPAA violations.
• Assist with meals and feeding as indicated.
• Assist with transfers and mobility of residents.
• Follow facility policies and work schedules.
• Create a warm, calm environment for residents.
• Attend training to maintain certification and stay current.
• Restrain residents only as instructed and release as required.
• Practice proper hand hygiene before and after care.
