Job summary

Good Samaritan in Ellis, KS is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) to provide resident-centered care in our not-for-profit long-term care setting. Under the supervision of an RN, you will assist with daily living activities, monitoring vital signs, and maintaining infection control and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required or in process
• Minimum age 16; prior long-term care experience preferred
• Performs resident-centered care under RN supervision
• Maintains infection prevention and PPE protocols
• Completes annual competency testing and continuing education credits

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Record vital signs and communicate changes to the charge nurse.
• Assist with transfers, mobility, and range-of-motion exercises.
• Assist with meals, dining, and hydration; monitor nutritional needs.
