Job summary

Valley View Medical Center in Fort Mohave AZ is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to join our night-shift team. You will perform basic patient care under RN/LPN supervision, monitor vital signs, assist with daily activities, and report changes to nursing staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred
• Certified Nursing Assistant in Arizona
• BLS certification required
• Handle with Care certification preferred
• Frequent standing, walking, lifting, and repetitive hand/arm movements
• Exposure to biological and chemical hazards, including blood and bodily fluids, hazardous medications, and latex

Responsibilities

• Under RN/LPN supervision, perform basic patient care per scope and standards
• Monitor vital signs, glucose, and intake/output
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, eating, ambulation)
• Report abnormal findings to nursing staff
• Keep patient rooms and common areas stocked, clean and orderly
• Participate in performance improvement and continuing education
• Provide quality patient care; work flexible shifts or units as needed
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance
• Perform other duties as assigned
