Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Language Skills: English proficiency to perform duties and emergencies
• Technical Competencies: Basic computer skills

Responsibilities

• Take and record vital signs.
• Measure and record height, weight, and fluid intake/output.
• Recognize abnormal changes and report to supervisor.
• Assist with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort service and activities of daily living.
• Transfer, position, and turn residents.
• Provide skin care to residents.
• Contribute to the resident’s assessment and care plan.
• Follow schedule of resident needs set by supervisor.
• Provide emotional and social support to residents.
• Respect and protect resident rights and independence.
