Job Overview

We are seeking a Nursing Assistant/Registered (CNA/NAR) to support our residents in our Skilled Nursing Facility (Transitional Care)! This role provides hands-on care and support services for our adult short stay patients at our spacious care center in Burnsville, MN.

This weekend patient support position includes:

• 64 hours every two weeks
• Evening shift
• Includes every other weekend Saturday/Sunday and holiday rotations

• Assists resident based on individual care plan with personal cares such as bathing, oral hygiene, grooming, toileting, dressing, showers, and responds to call lights.
• Nursing Assistant may, per community patient care model, check and record vitals AM/PM cares; including peri care and catheter care.
• May turn, lift, or transfer residents with or without other persons/mechanical assistance.
• Observes residents and reports status to appropriate staff in a clear and concise manner.
• Chart or document in electronic medical record system.
• Seeks to resolve resident and family concerns.
• Receives and gives report to appropriate staff during various times in work shift.
• Other duties such as maintaining order and cleanliness in rooms and work areas, reporting malfunctioning equipment to maintenance department, and answering phones in a timely manner.

• Active as Nursing Assistant, Registered (NAR) on the MDH Nursing Assistant Registry by start date – OR – Individual who is hired into Ebenezer’s Nursing Assistant Course or
• Ebenezer’s Pre-CNA job for Nursing Assistants; will be granted a 4-month post hire to become active on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry.
• Ability to work with a diverse and geriatric population.
• Communicate efficiently, with empathy and understanding for residents and coworkers.
• Experience working as a HHA, PCA, DSP, NA, Resident Assistant.
• Work experience in a customer service setting.

Ebenezer offers a robust compensation package with excellent benefits and wages ranging from $22.63 - $31.08 per hour. Wage determinations will be based on similar experience.
