Job Overview

We are looking for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA/NAR) to support residents at our Skilled Nursing Facility, Ebenezer Ridges Care Center. This role involves providing hands-on care and support services for our senior residents in Burnsville, MN. Responsibilities include:

• Casual hours with a flexible schedule
• Work every other weekend and holidays

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal cares such as bathing, oral hygiene, grooming, toileting, dressing, and responding to call lights
• Check and record vitals per community care model
• Provide care during AM/PM/NOC shifts, including peri care and catheter care
• Turn, lift, or transfer residents with or without assistance
• Observe and report residents' status clearly and concisely
• Document in electronic medical records
• Address resident and family concerns
• Communicate reports during shift changes
• Maintain cleanliness, report equipment issues, and answer phones promptly

Requirements

• Active as a Nursing Assistant, Registered (NAR), on the MDH Registry by start date, or
• Hired into Ebenezer’s Nursing Assistant Course or Pre-CNA program with a 4-month post-hire window to become active on the registry

Preferred Skills

• Experience with diverse and geriatric populations
• Effective, compassionate communication
• Experience as HHA, PCA, DSP, NA, or Resident Assistant
• Customer service experience
