Job summary

Vicar's Landing in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL seeks a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide memory care support. You will deliver person-centered care under licensed staff, assist with daily living activities, document care, and help create a safe, engaging environment focused on dignity and independence.

Requirements include active Florida CNA certification and BLS/CPR, with strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily personal care and support per resident care plans.
• Assist with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, dining, and toileting.
• Support admissions, transfers, and transitions within the community.
• Observe and report changes to licensed nursing staff.
• Document care in the electronic medical record system.
• Follow infection prevention, safety, and emergency procedures.
• Support Montessori-informed programming for engagement.
• Participate in team meetings and ongoing education.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Memory Care

About This Role

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Memory Care, you will provide compassionate, person-centered care that enhances the quality of life, dignity, and independence of residents living with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, and other memory-related conditions. Working under the direction of licensed nursing staff, you will help create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment while building meaningful relationships with residents and their families. This role is essential to delivering the exceptional care and hospitality that define the Vicar's Landing experience.

What You'll Do

• Provide daily personal care and support services in accordance with resident care plans, established standards of care, and community policies.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, dining, and toileting.
• Support residents during admissions, transfers, and transitions within the community.
• Observe and report changes in residents' physical, emotional, or cognitive condition to licensed nursing staff.
• Accurately document care and services provided in the electronic medical record system.
• Follow infection prevention, safety, and emergency response procedures to maintain a safe environment for residents and team members.
• Support Montessori-inspired programming and meaningful engagement opportunities designed to promote purpose, independence, and well-being.
• Participate in team meetings, training programs, and ongoing education to strengthen caregiving skills and resident outcomes

Skills You Need

Must-Have Skills

• Current Florida Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Education: Current CNA certification required. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
