Job summary

Vicar's Landing is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for Memory Care in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. The role focuses on compassionate, person-centered care for residents with memory-related conditions under licensed nursing supervision.

You will contribute to a safe, engaging environment, document care in the EMR, and participate in ongoing training and team collaboration to enhance resident outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current Florida CNA certification required.
• BLS/CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily personal care and support per resident care plans and standards.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, dining, toileting).
• Support residents during admissions, transfers, and transitions.
• Observe and report changes to licensed nursing staff.
• Document care and services in the EMR system.
• Follow infection prevention, safety, and emergency procedures.
• Support Montessori-inspired programming and meaningful engagement opportunities for purpose and well-being.
• Participate in team meetings, training, and ongoing education to strengthen caregiving skills.

About This Role

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Memory Care, you will provide compassionate, person-centered care that enhances the quality of life, dignity, and independence of residents living with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, and other memory-related conditions. Working under the direction of licensed nursing staff, you will help create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment while building meaningful relationships with residents and their families. This role is essential to delivering the exceptional care and hospitality that define the Vicar's Landing experience.

What You'll Do

• Provide daily personal care and support services in accordance with resident care plans, established standards of care, and community policies.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, dining, and toileting.
• Support residents during admissions, transfers, and transitions within the community.
• Observe and report changes in residents' physical, emotional, or cognitive condition to licensed nursing staff.
• Accurately document care and services provided in the electronic medical record system.
• Follow infection prevention, safety, and emergency response procedures to maintain a safe environment for residents and team members.
• Support Montessori-inspired programming and meaningful engagement opportunities designed to promote purpose, independence, and well-being.
• Participate in team meetings, training programs, and ongoing education to strengthen caregiving skills and resident outcomes

Skills You Need

Must-Have Skills

• Current Florida Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

• Experience with electronic medical record systems.
• Training or experience with Montessori-inspired dementia care programs.

Education: Current CNA certification required. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
