Job summary

The Nursing Assistant (NA) serves as caregiver to residents during scheduled shifts in memory care. The NA provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned residents under the supervision of a charge nurse.

Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, grooming, feeding, vitals, and mobility; may help with medication administration as delegated. Maintains infection prevention policies and supports wellness activities across shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum age 16.
• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in assisted living preferred.
• Required CNA certification with State Board of Nursing.
• Annual continuing education: minimum 12 hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, feeding, and mobility.
• Record vital signs and document outcomes of care and medications as delegated.
• Support residents with meals, nutrition, and hydration; assist with dining.
