Job summary

John Knox Village is seeking a certified nursing assistant to provide direct resident care in memory care settings, following facility policies and PRIDE values. The role includes documenting nursing care, assisting with activities of daily living, and supporting crew with meals and mobility during shifts.

The position requires MO or KS CNA certification as applicable, CPR certification preferred, and a valid driver’s license. Evening shift diff and every-other-Sat/Sun schedule are offered.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• MO CNA certification if MO; KS CNA and Home Health aide certification if KS.
• Current CPR certification preferred; Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal care to residents, assisting with ADLs.
• Records temperatures, pulses, respirations, blood pressures, weights.
• Keeps residents clean, dry, and comfortable.
• Reports information promptly to supervising nurse or manager.
• Completes required nursing care documentation to meet state and Village requirements.
• May perform custodial, housekeeping, food service, and wheelchair escort duties as needed.
