Ochsner Health in New Orleans seeks a Patient Care Assistant to assist licensed nurses in delivering safe patient care. Under supervision, the CNA will monitor patients, document tasks, and help maintain a clean and safe environment while communicating with families and staff.

Qualificações

• Must be a certified CNA with active state license.
• BLS verification required within 30 days of hire.
• CPI to be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Supports the plan of care as delegated by staff nurse.
• Maintains a clean and safe patient care area.
• Provides care based on patient age groups and safety criteria.
• Communicates patient care needs effectively with patients, families, and staff.
• Completes documentation of patient-related tasks.
• Adapts communication to patient population and privacy expectations.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
