Job summary

Meadow View Assisted Living in Wisconsin is seeking a CNA Medication Aide/Caregiver to join a compassionate team serving residents with dignity. The role includes administering prescribed medications, observing effects, documenting in MARs, and communicating concerns to the Wellness Director.

The part-time, 1st shift schedule requires availability every other weekend and holidays, with emphasis on person-centered care and supporting daily living activities to promote resident independence.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of medication assistance training in compliance with state requirements.
• Maintains up-to-date medication certification requirements according to state regulations.
• Compassionate and empathetic in all interactions.

Responsibilities

• Administers prescribed medications and treatments to residents in accordance with state regulations.
• Observes residents taking meds, notes effects, and documents in records.
• Communicates concerns or observations to Wellness Director or designated personnel.
• Supports residents with activities of daily living, including hygiene, socialization, cognition, and health.
• Encourages independence and preserves resident dignity through professional conduct.
