Job summary

PeaceHealth is seeking a CNA - Medical for a Full Time, 0.90 FTE, Day position. The salary range is $22.65 – $33.97 per hour, with the hiring rate influenced by education, experience and applicable agreements.

The role assists nursing staff in delivering high-quality patient care, performing direct and indirect care tasks under RN supervision, and maintaining unit operations and documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in an acute care facility preferred.
• Must demonstrate knowledge of age-specific principles of growth and development to meet patient needs.
• Provides basic nursing assistant procedures under RN direction.
• Maintains accurate patient care documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with direct patient care delegated by RN.
• Perform basic nursing tasks: CPR, vital signs, intake/output, dressing changes.
• Assist patients with personal care and mobility.
• Support walking, exercises, and transfers.
• Stock and organize unit supplies.
• Document relevant patient care data.
• Provide clerical support as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
