Job summary

Sunridge Assisted Living of Roy is seeking compassionate, energetic caregivers to join our night-shift team in Roy, Utah. No Med Tech experience required, but preferred. Part-time roles are available and our residents benefit from a friendly, supportive staff.

Caregivers assist residents with daily living, document changes, and notify the RCC and nurse of any concerns. A background check and food handlers permit, CPR/First Aid certification, and a TB test may be required upon hire.

We are hiring for Night shifts, and have Part Time positions available. Experience as a Med Tech isn't required, but is preferred.

Responsibilities:

Our Caregivers are responsible for caring for our senior residents, assisting them in all cares of daily living (ADLs), documenting and notifying RCC and nurse of any changes or concerns in our residents' condition, as well as all duties given them as assigned by the Administrator or Resident Care Coordinator.

Requirements:

• Basic computer skills
• Self-Starter and able to work independently
• Ability to work as part of a team and to handle multiple tasks safely and effectively
• High tolerance for working under pressure and handling critical situations with a cool head
• Good communication skills, such as being able to communicate effectively with residents, staff, family members, and professionals. Including the ability to communicate sensitive information with empathy ("bedside manner")
• Possess a love for the elderly
• Have a positive and compassionate attitude
