Job summary

Harris Regional Hospital - A Duke LifePoint Hospital in Sylva, NC is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a PRN, as-needed role on a 27-bed Medical-Surgical unit. You will work with RNs and CNAs to provide patient-centered care, with a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio and 1:12 CNA-to-patient ratio, contributing to care planning and patient comfort.

The position involves basic patient care under supervision, assistance with daily living activities, and reporting any changes to the nursing

Qualifications

• Current listing as Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with NC Division of Facility Services.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic patient care activities under RN supervision (vital signs, glucose checks, intake/output).
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, eating, ambulation).
• Report abnormal findings to nursing staff promptly.
• Keep patient rooms and common areas stocked, clean and orderly.
