Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Milford, MA is seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA) for 24-hour day coverage on a 12-hour shift. This on-site role supports RNs and LPNs, helping patients with daily living activities, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring a safe environment.

The position offers part-time hours with a hiring range of $15.00–$25.16 per hour, prorated for non-full-time schedules. Responsibilities include ECGs, glucose testing, equipment handling, and accurate documentation in the EMR.

Qualifications

• Must meet at least one of the following: one year of nursing assistant experience or completion of a nursing assistant training program or current nursing assistant certification (CNA).
• CPR/BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of RN or LPN.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and maintain a safe, clean environment.
• Record vital signs, administer glucose tests, transport patients safely, and adhere to infection control guidelines.
