Job summary

Northern Nevada Medical Center in Sparks, NV is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join the Medical/Surg 6 Unit on a full-time basis. You will deliver safe, compassionate care and support the healthcare team, guided by Patient Centered Care and Service Excellence standards.

Responsibilities include bedside shift reports, task delegation with the supervising RN, and addressing patient and family psychosocial and diversity needs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited CNA program preferred.
• Current Nevada CNA license required.
• Current BLS certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Completes bedside shift reports at the start and end of each shift.
• Meets with Supervising RN at shift start to receive task delegation.
• Addresses patient and family psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, and diversity needs in care.
