Northern Nevada Medical Center is seeking a dynamic Registered Nurse (RN) for its Medical-Surgical Unit in Sparks, Nevada. This full-time role focuses on safe, compassionate patient care and uses Patient Centered Care as the foundation of nursing practice.

Ideal candidates will have current Nevada RN licensure and a BLS certification, with hospital acute care experience preferred. The unit offers a day shift schedule in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN approved RN program.
• Current Nevada nursing license.
• Current BLS certificate.
• Prefer one year full time or three years part time experience in acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Involves the patient and family psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, population specific, and diversity needs in care assessment.
• Constructs and implements the plan of care using nursing knowledge and skill.
• Coordinates the implementation of the interdisciplinary plan of care for assigned patients. Develops goals, treatment plans, and discharge plans that meet individual patient/family needs.
