Job summary

CHI Williston Health is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to provide essential patient care under RN direction. You will perform basic care, assist with patient transport, and contribute to the patient’s plan of care as a vital interdisciplinary team member.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant license (ND) required upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) certification required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform and record vital signs; CPR; apply oxygen delivery systems; perform wound irrigation, direct pressure and dressings; prepare sterile field for suturing; assist provider with treatment.
• Apply restraints when indicated and ensure safety; clean medical equipment and prepare for sterilization; collect urine specimens; perform phlebotomy as directed.

Job Summary And Responsibilities

As our Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) at CHI Williston Health, you will be a cornerstone of patient care, directly contributing to comfort, safety, and recovery by providing essential support under RN direction.

Every day, you will deliver compassionate basic care, assist with patient transport, and actively contribute to the patient's plan of care as a vital member of our interdisciplinary team, upholding the highest standards of conduct and patient well-being.

• Must be able to perform the following tasks efficiently: perform/record vital signs, CPR, apply oxygen delivering systems, perform simple wound irrigation/direct pressure/dressings, prepare sterile field for suturing, assist provider with treatment when appropriate, apply restraints, clean medical equipment and prepare for sterilization, collect urine specimens, and phlebotomy
• Assists in making observations, gathering data, and identifying patient care needs
• Assists with patient transports and transfers
• Answer telephones, filing, greet patients/visitors, transcribe provider’s orders, electronic data entry, and assist with documentation
• Assists with cleaning, stocking, and maintenance of department equipment and supplies
• Practices safe work habits, compliance with safety rules and regulations, and adheres to safety policies

We are offering a $3,000 Bonus to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.
