Job summary

Enloe Health is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to support patient care under RN supervision in a hospital setting in Northern California. The CNA may perform selected nursing procedures as defined in the Patient Care Standards Manual and will transport medications to and from the pharmacy.

Ideal candidates have prior nursing unit experience, current CA licensing, and CPR certification, with a commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in nursing unit or hospital environment.
• Current Certification with the CA Department of Health Services Licensing & Certification Board.
• Current CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, the Certified Nursing Assistant may give patient care. They may perform selected nursing procedures as defined in the Patient Care Standards Manual. The CNA transports non-controlled medications to and from pharmacy. Under supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Certified Nursing Assistant provides a support function to the nurse by coordinating special tasks and assisting where needed. The Certified Nursing Assistant collaborates with other members of the patient care team to provide care in accordance with the medical plan of care.
