Resources for Human Development (RHD) is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, promoting independence and personal goals. You will provide personal care, health-related services, and advocacy within community and residential settings.

Qualificações

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsabilidades

• Administer medications and prescribed treatments in accordance with physician orders and agency policies.
• Assist individuals with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, oral hygiene, and meal assistance.
• Support mobility needs through lifting, transferring, repositioning, and ambulation assistance.
• Implement approved behavioral support strategies and crisis intervention techniques when needed.
• Accompany individuals to medical appointments, community activities, recreational outings, and social events.
• Support the implementation of Individual Support Plans (ISPs) and individualized care plans.
• Monitor health, safety, and environmental concerns and promptly report issues.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for individuals served.
• Complete required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with the RN, Program Director, families, and interdisciplinary team to ensure quality care and services.
