Job summary

Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center in Baltimore seeks a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant for Burk 1, a specialized Pulmonary Care long-term care unit. You will assist residents with ADLs, monitor vitals, and document in the EMR to ensure safe, resident-centered care.

Responsibilities include transfers, mobility support, infection prevention, and collaborating with nurses. Requires Maryland CNA I and CPR/BLS, HS diploma or GED, and less than one year of healthcare experience; long-term

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Maryland CNA I certificate required.
• CPR certification (AHA) required; BLS.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and feeding.
• Obtain and record vitals, weights, and intake/output as directed.
• Assist with transfers, ambulation and mobility using proper equipment.
• Document care and observations in the electronic medical record.
• Maintain safe, clean, and comfortable resident environment.
