Job summary

Gundersen Health System is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) in the St. Elizabeth’s facility in Wabasha. The role is part of the Skilled Nursing & Long Term Care department with a focus on direct patient care and safe patient transport. Entry is welcome, with 2 years of CNA experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of practice is required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic patient care including nutrition, elimination, comfort, mobility and safety.
• Transport and transfer patients using proper equipment with safety precautions.
• Assist nursing staff with lifting and ambulating patients following guidelines.
• Maintain equipment and environment and communicate accurately with the health care team.
