• Assists with patients' recreation programs and engagement.
• Prepares patients for meals, assists eating as needed, and records intake.
• Reads and follows daily care plans and updates nursing staff.
• Reports changes in patient condition to nurse in charge.
• Documents care on patient records and reports incidents as required.
• Provides nursing tasks as directed by licensed nurse or supervisor.
• Upholds patient rights and maintains professional appearance and conduct.
• Maintains positive relationships with residents, visitors, and regulators.
• Assists in admission, transfer, and discharge of residents.

• Assists patients with activities of daily living including bathing dressing, grooming, toileting, changing of bed linens, and positioning in and out of bed, chair, monitoring I & O, rounding on patients to ensure safety.
• Assists with patients’ recreation programs.
• Prepares patients for meals and snacks, assists patient in eating where needed, and records food intake.
• Reads and follows daily care plans.
• Reports changes in patient condition to nurse in charge.
• Documents care provision on patient record/flow sheets as required and reports accidents and incidents.
• Provides nursing functions as directed by licensed nurse, supervisor or manager.
• Understands, complies with, and promotes all rules regarding patient rights.
• Promotes positive relationships with residents, visitors and government regulators, to include presenting a professional appearance and attitude.
• Assist in admission, transfer and discharge of residents.
