Job summary

Kindred Hospital San Francisco Bay Area is seeking a compassionate CNA to assist nursing staff in delivering patient care over long-term recovery periods. The role includes helping with daily living activities, comfort, and basic clinical tasks under RN supervision.

You will contribute to a safe, clean environment and communicate clearly with patients and team members. Prior acute or long-term care experience is preferred, with certification requirements noted.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and speak fluent English.
• Must have good and regular attendance.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Able to organize tasks, develop action plans, set priorities and function under stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff with patient care and activities of daily living.
• Provide personal care, emotional support and assist in complex clinical skills under RN supervision.
• Take and record vital signs and document care in a timely manner.
• Assist with admissions, transfers and discharges.
• Maintain a clean, safe patient environment and respond to patient needs promptly.
