Job summary

Kindred Hospital San Francisco Bay Area is a 99-bed LTAC hospital providing extended care with 24/7 clinical support. Located near Oakland, CA, we partner with physicians to assist recovery and wellness. CNA role supports RN in daily patient care and activities of daily living.

Positions require CNA certification, BLS, and prior acute/long-term care exposure. Salary range listed; comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and speak fluent English.
• Must have good and regular attendance.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Able to organize tasks, develop action plans, set priorities and function under stressful situations.
• Ability to maintain a good working relationship within the department and with other departments.

Responsibilities

• Assists professional nursing personnel in providing patient care in assigned area.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Performs basic clinical skills under RN direction.
• Takes and records vital signs and inputs data accurately.
• Prepare patient room for admission, transfers and discharge.
• Assist with feeding and meal service and patient belongings.
