Job summary

Logan Health is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide basic patient care under supervision and guidance from leadership. This role requires efficient communication, adherence to HIPAA guidelines, and teamwork to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

The position involves assisting with daily living activities, accurate documentation, and contributing to a safe, compliant care environment in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Current Montana Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certificate is required.
• RQI Provider (BLS) within 7 days of hire/transfer or before independent patient care.
• Previous healthcare experience preferred.
• Understand confidentiality laws governing provider-patient relationships (HIPAA).
• Driver's license required for the driver portion.

Responsibilities

• Delivers and assists in delivery of basic patient care under supervision.
• Coordinates workloads and patient priorities with leadership.
• Performs CNA assessments and monitors vital signs; informs on abnormalities.
• Maintains patient privacy per Logan Health policies.
• Assists with activities of daily living and documents care provided.
• Maintains inventory and equipment for safety and cleanliness.
• Supports Medicare and regulatory standards compliance.
• Sets priorities for patient care tasks with stakeholders.
