Job summary

State of Georgia is seeking a CNA Nursing Assistant Instructor for Georgia Piedmont Technical College. The role involves full-time teaching across day, evening, and weekend hours at all campuses, delivering lectures and labs, and evaluating students.

The ideal candidate will hold an LPN/RN license in Georgia, be a Certified Train the Trainer (within 45 days), and possess CPR instructor credentials, with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse (GA license) required.
• Certified Train the Trainer must be completed within 45 days of hire.
• American Heart CPR Instructor credential required.

Responsibilities

• Teach classroom credit courses with both lecture and lab activities.
• Perform student evaluations and use quality improvement to measure success.
• Maintain accurate student records and generate reports for the Division Chair/Dean.
• Prepare and update course syllabi for each course taught.
• Advise and motivate students on program expectations and career paths.
