Job summary

State of Georgia is seeking an Adjunct Faculty - Certified Nursing Assistant. This part‑time, non‑benefited, exempt position in the Nursing and Life Sciences Division reports to the Program Director of Patient Care and prepares lecture and lab materials.

Qualified RN or LPN with an active Georgia license and at least two years of recent full‑time practice (one year in long‑term care) plus Train‑the‑Trainer certification is required. Prior teaching or curriculum development is preferred.

Qualifications

• RN or LPN with active Georgia license.
• At least two years of full-time RN/LPN experience in the past five years, with one year in long-term care.
• Train-the-Trainer certification and Alliant Health GMCF approval before teaching.

Responsibilities

• Prepare lesson plans for classroom and clinical instruction.
• Evaluate students’ progress toward goals and objectives.
• Maintain documentation and administrative reports.
• Assist with recruitment, retention and job placement efforts.
