Job summary

Texas State Technical College is seeking to fill entry-level, part-time temporary positions within the Corporate College. Instructors may be asked to develop customized training curricula and provide instruction for workforce development and industrial training clients across the state.

Responsibilities include delivering instruction, developing courses, and maintaining records and documentation as directed by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Two years of related experience relevant to the subject area.
• Demonstrated knowledge in at least one of the following areas: industrial maintenance, RCM, vibration analysis, fluid power, electrical, aviation maintenance, safety, instrumentation/electronic control systems, welding, heavy equipment operation, telecommunications, CNC, boiler systems, HVAC, English as a second language, building construction and repair, or other specialized manufacturing skill sets as determined by client demand.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate TSTC Core values of Excellence, Accountability, Service, and Integrity with internal and external stakeholders, customers, students, and community members.
• Develop curriculum for a variety of educational projects including continuing education, apprenticeships, contract and industrial training, special training projects, and international programs.
• Deliver instruction for these educational projects.
• Complete required documentation, including grades and other records, as directed by the supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
