Job summary

San Jacinto College is seeking a part-time Certified Nurse Aide instructor to teach CNA-related coursework. Instructors are hired on an as-needed basis and may be assigned to evenings or weekend classes, with on-site presence required at the designated Pasadena campus.

Requirements include CNA-related professional experience, an RN or LVN license in Texas, a current CPR card, and a valid TB test. A Texas driver’s license is also required. Salary is based on the college’s salary schedule AH.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of professional CNA-related experience.
• At least 1 year of licensed nurse direct patient care in a long-term care facility supervising CNAs.
• Current, valid Texas LVN or RN license.
• Current Texas driver’s license.
• AHA CPR card and current negative TB test.

Responsibilities

• Teach Certified Nurse Aide related coursework.
• Instructors may be assigned to evening and weekend classes as needed.
• Deliver instruction using various delivery methods and ensure on-site presence at assigned location.
