Job summary

Diversicare in Roundhill, NC is seeking motivated individuals to complete a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training program.

Under supervision, you will assist residents with daily activities, learn infection control and patient safety, and prepare for the state exam. This paid opportunity includes training, hands-on learning, HIPAA compliance, and potential placement within our skilled nursing centers.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn and a passion for caring for residents and patients
• Able to communicate positively with residents, families and staff
• Able to read, write, speak and understand English
• Demonstrates basic computer knowledge and ability to learn company applications

Responsibilities

• Work as a team member to assist CNAs in providing direct care
• Assist residents with oral hygiene, bathing, dressing and room cleanliness
• Complete assignments and hands-on learning activities
• Attend classroom activities, orientation and on-the-job trainings
• Provide safe bedside care with integrity and compassion
• Communicate effectively with patients and nursing team
• Accompany residents to activities and functions
• Complete required documentation accurately and timely
• Build relationships with patients, families and staff
• Comply with HIPAA and protect health information
• Study and take the state CNA exam
