Job summary

Rosemead Healthcare Center in El Monte, California is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. You will provide high-quality patient care to residents, assist with ADLs, monitor vital signs, and support care plans in a long-term care environment.

Qualifications

• Current California CNA certification and successful completion of a state-approved CNA program.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English; basic computer skills or willingness to learn.
• Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition patients; ability to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a manner conducive to safety and comfort.
• Assist patients with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Obtain and record vital signs and weights per policy.
• Assist patients with ambulation and transfers.
• Position patients in correct body alignment in and out of bed.
• Record patient's oral intake and output; provide hydration per care plan.
