Job summary

Helping Hand Nursing Services is a locally owned Nurse Registry providing compassionate home care for seniors, recovering patients, and individuals with disabilities in Lakeland, FL. We offer in-home CNA roles with flexible schedules and the ability to work up to 84 hours per week, including day and night shifts, with weekly pay.

Qualified candidates will have a CNA license, CPR certification, and AHCA background screening, plus HIV course completion, reliable transportation, and an insured

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in caregiving or CNA role.
• AHCA Level 2 Background Screening required.
• HIV course completion required.
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
• Must hold a current or former CNA license.
• Must have reliable transportation and an insured vehicle.
• Good bedside manner and compassionate approach.
• Excellent communication, time management, and interpersonal skills.
• Able to lift at least 40 pounds.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.).
• Assist clients with personal care and ADLs and IADLs.
• Help clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercises.
• Use of Telephony or GPS Clock-in Clock Out.
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own, including preparing meals.
• Follow the patient's care plan.
• Report any unusual incidents to the office and family members.
