Schedule
We are hiring multiple candidates for a CNA position in the High Point Area - 8 hours a day Monday-Friday
Job Responsibilities
- Help clients take prescribed medication
- Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
- Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
- Help clients with physical therapy exercises
- Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
- Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop
- Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
- Be a pleasant and supportive companion
- Report any unusual incidents
- Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
Skills
- Proven experience as a caregiver
- Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
- Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
- Respectful and compassionate
- Good time management skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong ethics
- Physical endurance
- High school diploma or equivalent

Requirements
Qualifications:
- Licensure/Certification: Current certification/registration with the North Carolina Board of Nursing
- Current Nurse Aide I (CNA I) certification
- Be in compliance with all existing regulations and company policies.
- CPR preferred and may be required for some clients.
- Must meet transportation, language, and cultural requirements specific to branch needs.
- CNA/PCAs are required to possess a sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick, ability to read, write and carry out directions and maturity to deal effectively with the demands of the job.
- Other Hours of Work: Varies on a case-by-case basis, variable hour employee.
Additional Requirements: Bi-lingual – English/Spanish a plus.
